Holy Roar – Album Review and Giveaway

Surely goodness, love and mercy will follow wherever I go.

Chris Tomlin released his latest album Holy Roar last week and put it simply I love it.

Goodness, love, and mercy are a reoccurring theme throughout the tracks. Three things we all could use more of in this world.

Holy Roar already has a couple tracks on the radio and there are a few more I think could definitely be the next hit either on the radio or to hear live at his upcoming tour. HOLY ROAR: the freedom, the experience, the wonder of worship. It is seeing the church come together, hands lifted to God, pouring out our praise with an eternal song in our hearts. It’s every voice together, changing the way we worship.

Holy Roar’s album theme is the freedom, the experience, the wonder of worship. It is seeing the church come together, hands lifted to God, pouring out our praise with an eternal song in our hearts. It’s every voice together, changing the way we worship. Personally I cannot wait to experience this type of worship first hand at Chris Tomlin’s upcoming tour which currently there are no tour dates in my city but hopefully, one will get added as there are stops nearby. Until then I look forward to being able to worship wherever I am listening to any or every track of Holy Roar.

I had the opportunity to see Chris a few years back live in concert and have been a fan for many many years. His latest album is no exception.

From the title track Holy Roar, he sets our hearts and ears ready for worship and praise. Nobody Loves Me Like Jesus is a track that becomes our worship cry, especially in a time like this where we are more divided than loving. Resurrection Power has already had significant airplay as we are reminded that the power of Jesus is inside each of us. Goodness, Love, and Mercy is a comforting ballad that promises we are covered and shepherded through the valley of this life. Satisfied will get you dancing if nothing else.

Impact is probably the best worship song on the album as it unravels the marvel of being covered in His grace and mercy. Praise Him Forever is another great praise and worship song that does not require much explanation beyond the title. Is He Worthy, answers the question of whether the lion is worthy of all blessing and honor and glory, which of course He is. Forever Young

You rain rivers in my soul
You are the fire in my bones
Jesus, You rain rivers in my soul
In Your presence, I’m forever young

I Stand in Awe features special guest Nicole Serrano. It is a beautiful love ballad as we all stand in awe of Him. Praise is The Highway, praise is the highway to the throne of God, is a revival song for the church. How Sweet It Is features, Pat Barrett. How sweet it is to be loved by Jesus, how sweet it is indeed.

This could easily be considered or should be considered for worship album of the year. I recommend everyone pick up a copy today!
