There’s a new hope rising. A new passion behind the songs we sing. In the face of one of the hardest seasons we’ve ever endured, our faith in the Gospel is stronger than ever.

We are STILL standing.

THIS is the time to come back together. THIS is the moment to raise our voices. For the first time ever these amazing worship leaders will be TOGETHER on ONE stage, leading us in ONE voice, lifting up ONE NAME.

I can remember the first time I heard Chris Tomlin’s song “Good Good Father” on the radio. Like many people I was going through a struggle in my own life, where I really questioned what that meant. I had recently found out that my mom was diagnosed with cancer and had an emergency surgery to try and slow down the spread. My relationship with my adoptive earthly dad here on earth, while better was still strained. I felt so alone, and angry that this could happen, this was something that happened to ‘other’ families.

While I was driving down the road, a bit numb from all the news, and really questioning God, and how things like this can happen to people, good people like my mom. The lyrics of ‘Good, Good Father’ by Chris Tomlin started to break into the silence of my own thoughts.

Oh, I’ve seen many searching for answers far and wide
But I’ve known we’re all searching
For answers only you provide

I have been searching with no answers …

Cause you know just what we need
Before we say a word

Where are my answers? If you know my thoughts then answer me.

Cause’ you are perfect in all of your ways
You are perfect in all of your ways
You are perfect in all of your ways to us,
You are perfect in all of your ways
Oh, you’re perfect in all of your ways
You are perfect in all of your ways to us

Are you perfect? Is your love really that perfect for all of us?

Oh, it’s love so undeniable
I, I can hardly speak
Peace so unexplainable
I, I can hardly think
As you call me deeper still
As you call me deeper still
As you call me deeper still
Into love, love, love

I was in tears, pulled into a parking lot weeping. How can a father like this even know I exist? I listened as the song ended and the DJ came on the air to announce the artist. Immediately I grabbed my phone and went to Amazon and bought the Chris Tomlin’s album, and listened to it over and over again. Music has always been a means of therapy for me. A way to understand and pray to God in a manner that my hollow prayers never seemed to fill. Little did I know how much I would need to know my Good, Good Father over the next few years.

Music heals broken hearts

My mom lost her battle with cancer right at the beginning of COVID in March of last year. The relationship with my earthly father is better than it ever has been. My Good, Good Father has watched over me during these difficult times and has shown how pleased He is and that I am never alone. I personally look forward to worshipping together again at the upcoming summer live worship tour with Chris Tomlin, Kari Jobe, Bethel Music and more. Be sure you grab your tickets today and enter to win a pair as well!

Wouldn’t you like to get to know your Good, Good Father too? Get your tickets on June 11th and experience this live worship event of the Summer in a city near you and enter to win TWO FREE tickets!
