When You know it is Worth it

It's Worth it

There are moments in life when you know it is Worth it.

Ever have that moment of clarity that makes your struggle worthwhile? That moment when you are ready to throw in the towel and it happens. When you are full of self-doubt and prepared to quit. That is when He intercedes and puts someone or something in your path.  This is not another hurdle to leap over, this is the reminder that it’s all worth it.

Those sleepless nights when you can’t shut your brain off are worth it. The conversations that you have with yourself are starting to make sense. The words that you are unable to speak, yet crave to give a voice to be heard.

The audacious goals you set for yourself so long ago.
These all make up the moments that I thought they may be a struggle, they and you are worth it. That sigh of relief when your car or credit card is paid off. That time when your art work is used to announce a marriage or a newborn. Maybe it is when you get sweaty palms and butterflies before your first TedX speech.

Whatever level of expectation it is, it is worth it.

Perhaps it is the time you use the story of David to bring others to Christ and to find their purpose. Or you create a pod cast that highlights the achievements of others. Or it is the time you shared your wisdom to help other bloggers become better beyond the posts they write.

What about when you find ways to help others declutter and simplify their lives. Maybe it Is the online cave you created where men can be themselves without judgement or condemnation. Or the collection of tweetable leadership quotes providing light in others lives. Whatever the price or lessons learned they are all worth it.

Then there is the pod cast where you help fill other people’s buckets so that they my live their life first. Or the ways that an online community can gather together to changes people’s lives whether it is through fundraising, gift giving or kick starting, so many lives are changed every day.

It does not matter if you are car salesman, stay at home mom, hair stylist , public speaker, blogger, published author, no matter what your trade it all matters. The simple things we do each and every day to share not only our lives but our story. We all have an untold story that is worth sharing with the world around us.

We also have goals no matter how big or small that are all worth it.

So the next time you are ready to throw in the proverbial towel, know there will be that someone who will stop you. Whether it is a piece of mail of encouragement, a simple “thank you” for what you do.

It really does not take much to save a dream and realize it is all really worth it.

Personally I can attest the struggles can be difficult and the dreams may get cloudy.

But when you have someone say that something you did “moved them” or that “you made a difference”. Or it can be simply them saying “oh you are a such  n such,  I could really use your help with blah de blah”.

In an instant you go from feelings of obscurity to it all being worth it.

If you happen to be the person that sees someone who is struggling with their dream, tell them it is worth it. Little votes of confidence can mean the world to a dreamer on the path to being a builder.

Take the moment to change their life and tell them that you believe in them and they will hopefully realize that it is all really worth it.

Now it is your turn, share below your goal or dream, for we all know it really is worth it.

I felt like this last week, throwing in the towel. Sometimes for no real reason life can come across as just dame hard. I’m lucky to have a strong family around me to keep me on the right track, don’t know where I would be without them

  4. LOVE IT!!! Thank you for a moment of inspiration. I truly believe everything happens for a reason.

  5. What a wonderful post! I started to go to school for my Masters degree in 2009. I had a baby in 2012 and I thought it was back to the grind and I’d get it done. I was more than halfway done anyway! Then boom! I was pregnant again and had to take more time off. Basically in the course of two years (8 terms) I took four of them off. I’m back on it now though and I will hopefully be graduating by Spring of 2016. It will all be worth it to fulfill His calling for me!
